Vision Arts; In the beginning ....
2008
Chris & Dave
Chris comes onboard the Vision Arts train, working part time with the lovely Dave, who had been operating Vision Arts for some years by this point. They cast in Pewter and supplied many local shops with Cornish Gifts.
Going Solo
2010
Chris goes Solo
By around 2010, Dave, a successful Jeweller, decides to focus on his other businesses, and Chris continues supplying wholesale to Cornish businesses.
A New Workshop
July 2011
Hello, Unit 10 Trannack Mill Industrial Estate!
Needing more room, the decision to take on a workshop is made! Lots of room for the machines and office equipment. It doesn't take long to fill the space.....
Kate Joins
August 2011
Kate gets Vision Arts Online!
Kate starts to lend a hand part time, creating an online presence and making our products available to customers outside of Cornwall.

Celebrated our first online sale! A pair of Celtic Earrings... Much excitement ensued and we had a Chinese takeaway to celebrate!
Big Changes

When one door closes, another opens....jumping in feet first!
With both Chris & Kate working at local mining attraction, Poldark Mine, it came as a huge blow when the mine went into administration, resulting in redundancy for both. However, aware that this could actually be an amazing opportunity, we jumped in feet first and Vision Arts became our new full time job!
A New Direction

Vision Arts becomes 'Vision Arts Tin'
With the Wholesale Market dwindling, the decision to refocus our direction was made. We decided to move away from Wholesale and sell direct to our customers. We also decided to start casting the majority of our items in Tin, rather than Pewter, in keeping with the iconic mining heritage of Cornwall

It quickly becomes clear that our Tin products are very popular with customers looking to celebrate their 10th Wedding Anniversary. We start having our gift boxes custom printed, and excitedly start ordering our own printed packing leaflets and other bespoke items to further enhance our brand

Around 2018 we started to experiment and expand on our hand stamping and offering personalisation. Turns out, not only is it a popular service to offer, it's also a lot of fun to do!

A Surprise Success

Our Christmas Collection Explodes!
In 2021 we launched our Personalised Christmas Decoration Collection. It was an immediate hit, taking us all by surprise, making for a very busy Christmas Season. Since then, we have expanded our Christmas Collection and have seen our lovely customers come back year after year, adding to their collection. The Workshop is absolute pandemonium for 8 weeks of the year, but we wouldn't have it any other way!
